The council's appraisal describes West Murrayfield as large villas, from early country houses behind high stone walls to Victorian villas on the east side of Murrayfield Road. It also notes inter-war villas on Easter Belmont Road.
Rooms in houses this size are usually big enough for a separate bath and shower. Some have the space to add an extra en-suite as well.
